Moving out of my parent’s house has been great. It has been quite the learning experience, but it is one that I am happy that I am getting at my age. I am twenty years old and have been living on my own for the last year. One of the most difficult lessons I have had to learn is how to manage my money.

I have learned to buy cheap designer clothes instead of shopping at the stores that I used to shop at. I never realized how much money I made my mother spend on clothing for me before I had to start doing it for myself. I just picked the clothes that I wanted, my mother bought them and I wore them for a couple months and bought new stuff.

Now that I have to buy my own clothes, things are much different.
